    So what has it been like this past week and a half? It’s been pretty damn laid back, that is for sure. Every day, I wake up around 10 a.m. and make either some green tea or coffee (it all depends if I’m naughty or nice). Green tea is when I’m nice and coffee is when I’m naughty.

    After I make my toxin of choice, I sit down in 90 degree heat in my mom’s living room (because she doesn’t want the air-con on… too much electricity spent), and I sweat on a chair for about 2-3 hours reading news and blogs on my feeddemon. After that, I take a nice little break and play Untold Legends on my PSP for about another two hours. It’s been such a long time since I’ve gamed (December 2005), and it’s really cool to be able to do that again. I doubt I’ll have much time during the summer to game, why, with taking care of my little brother, work, and school.

    Oh yeah, I might have forgotten to tell you. My boss quit her job, and her last day is my first day back. Her husband got a call two weeks ago for a job in San Francisco. This means that I have the opportunity to become the interim director of the Women’s Resource Center for the summer, and if all goes well, I’ll be able to work more hours and get paid better! Yay! That will mean that I will have more money to contribute towards Shaq’s education.

    Let’s see, what else . . . ah yes . . . mom has been driving me nuts, but that’s to be expected in my family. I am contemplating leaving the Brownsville on Saturday, but I don’t know yet. Her and I are not speaking, and basically, it’s a continuance of boundaries that both Kris and I set with her that she doesn’t like. Too bad. It’s our life, and if she wants to be a part of it, she needs to stop being so disrespectful to us.

    moving up would be awesome!! i hope it all works out for you! i feel ya about your mom. deep breaths! We’ll probably go to the beach Friday afternoon if you want to go with us!
